Okay could be a dumb question here. Yah, it has to be. My dealer installed the Rinehart True duals, Sert and downloadon my 08 Street Glide before I left. I would assume I have a differentair cleaner right? Come to think of it I don't have any reciepts for all my parts they are just in their system. I am taking out my baffles and installing the Big City Thunder baffles that go between the muffler and head pipe tomorrow and taking it to the dealer next Friday for a dyno. Should I go with a high flo type system or just stay with what I got? I was shoppin around at J & P and Choppers cycle.com and seems all their air cleaners are for 06's or older.
You sure they didn't replace the AC. Why would they spend the time for a Stage I without the AC? That would suck to get it retuned for the AC after the fact for a 5min install of a cheap part....
Still not a whole lot of options for the 08s, but given the other stuff you had done I would sure want to increase the air flow coming in. I had the SE A/C put on with the new slip-ons and SERT at my 1k service, but at the time it was the only high flow air cleaner available.
On my 07 the stock filter was kind of oval shaped with tight pleats. The stage 1 SE filter is round with wide pleats. It'sdoubtfull they did theduals and aSERTwithout the intake.Hopethis helps.
If you have the SE filter kit there will not be a plastic backing plate behind the cover. You will be able to reach in behind the cover and touch the actual filter if it has a high flow.
