BOTM is so Clay Akin gay. If I wanted to throw cash at a show bike or waste a bunch of money on something it would not be a bike. I RIDE mine, I don't even wash it.
I like to invest in things that make money not loose money........
Ooooo, can I touch your boot heel one day Mr Biker. Yeah, I ride mine too, rode it out to Wyoming through S. Dakota and into Colorado, around Lake Michigan and several other quick weekend rides last year. This year it starts with a long weekend ride to Upper Wisconsin, then late June I leave for 3 weeks on the road to Calgary to ride the Rockies all the way down through Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and Colorado, thne I'll be back to Montana to visit an old friend and again around Lake Michigan. I've been riding since I was 12 years old and am now 41. Can I be a biker just like you now?? No, wait scratch that. I don;'t want to be just like you [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
[sm=lame.gif] Attitudes like the above lose votes very quickly.
You know Russ, you sure do a lot of bitching about the guy even though he is gone. Maybe instead of taking shots at the guy behind his back you should recall how the guy helped you find parts where he took the time topost the info and links you needed to make a purchase on speaker baffles? Just a tought!
Russ, I don't care about votes. If I did, I'd be a politician. As to my attitude, my attitude was fine before someone came on and expressed his attitude on what he feels about someone else and what they like to do to their own rides. So, I only gave him back a taste of his own attitude. Sorry if it offended you, I am a pretty nice guy most of the time
I'd like it better if the individual groups just voted for what they thought was the best looking bike of thier type, and had that picture come up with their thread. Representing, but that way you could choose the best of each model from within the individual categories. After that, how can you compare them? They are all different, and have their own good points.
It would also give people who don't know the bikes as well a bit more understanding.
Softail of the month, bagger of the month, etc. No more bad blood.

I ride mine, I work on mine, I like to make mine look different. And I have enough pride in my bike to wash it. And as far as investing in what makes money, I have more than I need, so now I will spend it on anything and everything I want! Sorry to hear you are still needing the investments...
I'd hope you would have money so at 56! What else would you do when your crank stops working but spend money..... makes sense now.
