Picking up an 01 Road King this weekend (assuming it checks out). My question is that the seller upgraded to a 6-speed tranny as well as a big bore kit and did all the work himself. He is a mechanic.....should i be concerned, things to look for? I believe he said he did this at 5000 miles and has 28000 on it now!!!! Below is all the stuff he added:
rear is a metzeler which has about 100 miles on it, I would replace the front with a matcher pretty soon, yes it has the stock removable windshield, removable passenger backrest, factory paint is 2 tone green and black and in good shape. I don't like the Haley emblems. so, engine has 4 crane cams roller rockers 100$ each, adjustable pushrods, JIMS big axle lifters, chrome bolt kits chrome point cover, I undercoated the fenders when I had the wheels off, custom front axle spacers, Chrome fork lowers serviced with Amsoil shock oil Road King custom wheels and bags w/ locks but no key sorry harley wants 75 bucks for new lock tumblers, inch and a quarter bars with hidden wires, chrome switches and housings, braided stainless control cables, kuryaken iso grips, extended rear brake lever, stainless steel quick release tank crossover line 70$, Led turn signals all around and brake light. Cobra fuel control, Rinehart true dual exhaust 800$ . and you already know about the 6 speed a
nd big bore
