I need the part number for a fuel tank in primer that would fit a 2006 Roadking carbureted bike. If you can help me out it will be appreciated, thanks...........
Edit: That of course is for evo, not sure if it´s different plus actually found couple of newer part #s too that said they fit FLHR/I, so maybe it´s the sametank as in EFI? Although I think for instance F.B.I. has gas tanksthat havedifferent #s forEFI and carb...
During my lunch break I stopped off at the local Harley shop. The parts man there gave me the same number you have dawg, 61268-03. I looked it up after workat chicagoharley.com and they listed it to fit FLHRI and a few others, but failed to state what years. I was thinking that the (I) in FLHRI stood for injected. I thought the injected tanks were a different bird than the carbureted tanks, am I wrong?Finnglide I looked up part number 61225-98 at Chicago Harley. They listed it to fit the FLHR, which is my model of bike but were not pacific as to the years that it will fit. What I am wanting to do is to put the stock tank on the shelf and replace it with a clean tank with no stripes or decals. I could do the body work on the stockoriginal tank and paint it but who knows, I may want to put it back on someday.I am still unsure what tank for order. I would hate to spend the money and not get what I need. Thanks a lot for the part numbers it gives me a place to start..............
