Well it had to happen! I pulled up where a few people I know were standing around talking and needless to say I did not complete all the steps in my dismount. Everything is done "except the Jiffy stand is not down". I precede to get off the bike and along comes the bike with me [sm=noooo.gif]
That sucks, of course one of my buddies help me upright the bike. GOTTA BE MORE CAREFUL!
....reminds me of what happened here in Mass about a month ago...some good samaritan pulled over on the highway to help someone who spun out into a gulley....he jumps out of his pick up and goes down the gulley..forgot to put the truck in park...truck follows him and runs him over, and he actually dies!...brutal....sometimes it's the details that get us...hope the bike aint hurt too bad...
I was in a hurry moving stuff in and out of the garage and I did it with my old bike. I caught it before it went all the way.
I tore a rotator cuff but not not a scratch on the bike.
I won't ever forget the stand again.
Dude never done that but lots of other stupid stuff...Used to have an old Norton and had to have a curb to park it next to,never had a stand it fell over lots..
