Default Good, Normal or Outstanding...
I had to replace my rear tire today and was wondering, Is 10,268 miles average for tire wear or is it good or outstanding? Just wondering if these dunnies are all their made out to beby my dealer??? "D"

I replaced mine at 12500. From what I have read here, and IMHO, it appears that the average rear tire life, regardless of manufacturer is about 8-12K. I am sticking with Dunlops coz they are easily available in a pinch at any HD dealer anywhere you may travel.

I just replaced my rear D-402 tire with 9,500 miles on it. It was worn past the wear bars.

Went 12.5k on my last rear. Should of changed @ 12k. Have 9k on current rear and it looks really good.

I would say very good on the scale. I am trying out an E3 now, got 9,500 out of the 402.

With the sidecar I have to replace the rear tire around 4000 miles or a little less.
