Parts Problem
I have an 07 rkc and I want to remove the chrome wind deflector and replace the stockys with 1 1/4 fat beach bars, when I tried to replace the handlebar cover with a standard road king cover it did not fit, (the lock/screw holesdid not line up with the cover) Returned it to Harley and further investgation revealed that there was no replacement part, I find this hard to belive, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

If you are trying to just take off the RK Custom nacelle wind deflector, you will need both the standard chrome Road King handle bar cover, and you will need to replace the center trim piece that goes down the top center of the nacelle. Any good parts guy will know what you need immediately. For replacing the handlebars, you will also need to replace the handle bar clamp (under the chrome handle bar cover). Just get the simple one piece ugly black clamp because it will be covered. Very simple to do. Took my Custom nacelle wind deflector off a while ago. and replaced the handle bars with the Wild Ones 518's 1 1/4.
