I finally calmed down enough from the excitment to post this. I had to be sure they did not make a mistake (SMILE) but The $tealer called me to inform me that my SG is in the building. Apparently they recieved a Vivid Black earlier than they anticipated and my salesman jumped at the chance to put my name on it. I went to the shop to confirm and YEP, it's there ...still in the crate. It will take a few days for them to put my stage II kit in along with some other "STUFF" I want installed. I like the comfort of having a 2yr warranty on certain parts installed by the $tealer. I should be riding by the end of next week... just in time for DAYTONA BIKE WEEK~!!! [sm=happy046.gif]
What a way to break her in. A nice road trip to Daytona for bike week so I can spend MORE dayum money[sm=boohoo.gif]
1st stop the CORBIN shop.
So, I got aquainted with Jerry from HOG PRO yesterday. It was easier deciding on the bike and color than it was deciding on rims! It's going to be exciting adding small details to this bike without over doing it. My goal is to keep the clean, sleek, low profile custom look.
I have to admit it, I was just as excited when I was getting my Fat Boy. It's what we enjoy and do when dealing with TOYS! The difference is, I'm excited in other ways with the SG than I was with the Fat Boy.
Hahahaha.... sh*t, I'm hear burning road trip music on a CD @ 7:30am in the morning on a SATURDAY !!! Tell me I'm not going nuts.
Wow, I know the feeling. Sounds like you have some great mods planned and I don't blame you for letting the dealer do all the motor work because of the warranty. I love the low sleek look of the SG. I've got my roadglide stripped down and low and love the way it looks and rides. Can't wait for the pictures and the happy riding stories.
Congrats on the New Bike, That SG is one good Lookn Bike. With the riden' season just on us, you will be off and running. Man it sure is a great feeling when a Harley Guy gets a NEW HARLEY........hdman
