I'm in the process of installing the detach tour-pak kit. Well as part of that I have to install the antenna relocation kit. It appears that the kit is designed to "re-locate" the antenna from the fender to a Tour-Pak, so of course most of the instructions tell you all about moving it to a tour-pak, drill here,,, drill there,,, yada yada. What they don't do is show the process/sequence for hooking everything up to the bracket to include the ground wire.
Anybody got some pics, or instructions on how to get this done.
Once I get this part taken care of, I'll be good to go...
I went with a hidden antenna and put it underneath the fairing. No need to drill the tourpac, etc. HogTunes makes a good one that is reasonably priced.
For $20 at AutoZone or any auto parts store, you can get a hidden antenna and put it inside your fairing.........that way you don't have deal with the antenna out back anymore.
