Rain Gear
Anyone got info on some reasonably priced GoreTex or O2 Breatheable rain gear? Guess I am asking for too much, affordable-breatheable-compact/lightweight-something that really works without breaking the bank.

Try that site. I got a set from them thinking I would only use them for emergency during short ride. Well on my way to myrtle beach I encounter rain. They kept me dry I now use the jacket a lite wind breaker with just a t-shirt.

I have "Frog Toggs". You can find em on the web. I bought mine at a (honda) dealer at a close-out sale.
The jacket and pants compress nicely. I put them into gallon zip-lok bags.

Take a look at the Tourmaster (http://www.tourmaster.com/) line rlb5857. They have some very nice raingear.

I have also heard great things about frogg toggs... from what I have been told you cannot go wrong! I ordered mine, but haven't gotten them yet, so I have no real review of them, but have heard great things!!!
