Default New T-Max Thundermax installed!

It took me about a year before I finally bit the bullet and bought the T-Max. Man why did I wait so long. I had orginally installed a PCIII USB and thought it was doin a good job. It did have some decel poping but nothing that bothered me. We went up in the mountians a few weeks agao and I noticed a lose of power so I figured I would go ahead and try the T-Max out. I just installed it and so far I have only riden about 100 miles, speeding up and slowing down a lot for it to autotune. First off I would like to say how easy this thing is to install. After loading a map, cycling the key switch 3 time, it fired right up. I started it a couple more times letting it rest at an idle then started it up and let the temp reach about 291 before shutting it off again for the night. The next morning it was time to ride. Once again it started right up and idled smoother than it ever has. Less engine shake and just sounded better. Out on the road it was very apparent that the engine was running smoother and slowing down was also better with zero poping. I haven't heard 1 pop since it was installed. The bike feels much stronger now. Can't wait to get the miles on it so it can finish fine tuning the map for my bike. All I can say about the T-Max is what a wonderful addition to my ride. 06 Ultra

Default RE: New T-Max Thundermax installed!

Congrats! I was talking to an old Harley mechanicwho used to install & program for Zippers and he says T-max is greatIF it isinstalled properly. I have been thinking aboutinstalling oneforawhile now. I like the self-adjustabilty of it and I have heard enough good things about T-maxthat I amconvincedits what I want.
