Thanks very much for your comments, Mick. One of the Harley dealers in my area carries Mustang seats. I'm going to take a ride down there and see if they have any '08 seats in stock. If they do, I'm going to see if they'll fit on my bike with the grab bar.

I purchased a Mustang 76206 smooth and put it on my 2008 electra glide classic with grab bars. It fit fine with the grab bars but ittook two people to push it down to where I could install the screw at back. When I slid it in the slot in front it was about 3" above the mounting screw at back...I called Mustang and was told to force it down and don't worry about breaking the pan.
I rode it 1200 miles in one weekend. Didn't like above stock and didn't want to ask or wait for help every time I wanted to change seats.

Guess I should have posted this when I bought the Mustang seat. I absolutely love the seat and tried to install the passenger grab bars. I seemed that there was too much pressure to push the seat down and it was too far away from the screw in the back; so I sold the grab bar. Me and the wife tried different methods but was scared of having to push down too hard on seat and breaking something.

Thanks for the replies. My wife really likes the grab bar and I like using it as a tiedown point, so it's not going anywhere. I don't think I want a seat I'll have to fight with every time I take it off or on, so I think the Mustang is now off my list of possibilities.

Thanks again for everyone's help!
