Default What to do about brake delete???

I am putting the 21 and 18 combo on my SG this weekend and just trying to get all the rights parts i need. The only thing i need now is a way to get rid of the dual brake, i am going to only run one brake on the left side. Does anyone know or have done so, got rid of one of the brakes. There is a little splitter between the forks was thinking there was a way to just cap off one of them or a different splitter to get. Any help would be great.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've seen several pictures with only 1 brake. Maybe someone will reply.

Yes you can get a flared plug at any good auto parts store and go that route. Or you could get an aftermarket brake line rfom the maste cylinder to the caliper.
hope this helps.

Make sure you get new muffler clamps from HD. Don't re-use the old ones as they will leak.

You will need a 36MM socket for rear axle. They have these at auto parts stores and call them an axle socket. You also need a 10MM 12pt socket for the brake calipers.

you need to buy or borrow a double flare tool,a 3/16 line nut,a 3/16 union, and 3/16 plug.o.k. thats the easy part now cut line about 2 inches long after it tees off, slide line nut on,follow instructions with kit to produce a double flare, tighten union to line nut, tighten cap into union.then carefully bend line to rear so it is not as visible from front.bleed brake system and refill. did mine on my 08 and works perfect! good luck!
