When I bought my last bike, 00 RK it had a smaller HD leather pouch on the shield. Initially I didn't thnk I'd like cause it was a little gay looking. But as it turns out, it was a great place to store stuff that I could get to quickly while riding. Night glasses, cell phone, camera. Thought about getting something for the SG but they all look pretty fem. Anyone have something that the like and looks good ?
I'm not sold on them personally. They are helpful but I don't really care for the look. And where I live you have to worry about your bike being taken, let alone items inside of the pouches. Hell, I don't even leave my cheap skid helmet with the bike unless I can keep an eye on it. I hate thieves.
That sucks. I generally don't even lock my bike if I go to a store around here...that's why I pay insurance. If someone wants it, they'll get it regardless. I wished there was a pocket in the fairing of some sorts like the RGs have..but oh well!
True but how many claims can one file before being dropped? There were 4 guys going to parkinglots with poles, running them through the wheels and picking bikes up and placing them in the back of a truck. Took like a minute. Maybe I am paranoid.

I don't have one yet but plan on buying one soon. The dealership was out a couple weeks ago and I figured I'd find one at bikeweek cheaper anyways. I think it will come in handy for my garage door opener and there's also a lot of toll roads in Florida so I can throw some toll money in one when I head out.
