After you install it. what kind of grease did you use thezert. I normaly use lithium but could but new to bikes I do not want to mess it up.

I used the same grease I use on my boat trailer wheel bearing. I did that because of the high heat around the brake pedal.

I coated the shaft it slide on and then couted the inside bore of the pedal. the unit should have come with a grease fitting after the complete install I pump grease into the grease fitting untill grease started to show. something like when you grease your "balljoint" on a truck.

Just grabbed a neighbors grease gun, shot it a few squirts, cleaned her up, then did the trailer axlesand rode off.

I would imagine that just about any grease would be sufficient. It is a matter of using what is in your grease gun. I tend to use Lucas hi temp wheel bearing grease (it is what I use for my enclosed trailers). Same for the neck bearings.
