Got into a "discussion" with a guy the other day....He thought nothing of putting a fram oilfilter on his new truck but had to have a harley filter on his bike.......ddduuuhhhhh......some people make no sence....
Not a whole lot of technology to do R&D on. It's just a heavy peice of metal with a few properly aligned holes in it. Metal fatique? Maybe if the bike is overloaded, but then the H-D parts may fail too. Sorta like dropping a lot of R&D bucks into zipper fobs. 8-)
