Anyone using the NGK DCPR7EIXiridium spark plugs. I put a set
in my 05 Ultra today and the first thing I noticed was that it
started so fast I barely got my thump off the starter button.
I wasn't use to that. It has always started quick but not like
that.
Just curious.
I've been using them since 02 and currently have them in my 07 SG. I think they are the best plugs I know of.
They may be more than is needed and they are more expensive but I really like them.
I know what you mean but heck, I've got upwards of 20K invested in that bike, why would I want to skimp on a spark
plug or lubes.
Appreciate the response. I prefer NGK's but never tried the
iridiums. The bike definitely fired up from a cold start faster
than ever before. I like that.
My first experience with NGK was in a 91 300Z Turbo. Been
using them eversince in anything that has performance in it.
Thanks for the welcome and the same to you. Looks like we
share a common theme in life. I got back in 69 and couldn't
buy a job. Just before I decided to re-up and go back to doing
what I knew, I seen an add for police officers in Washington
DC. Been in Law Enforcement of one kind or another ever since.
DC taught me to first ride the Vespa's and then the Harley.
Taught me what it is to have the support of 6000+ officers
at my back too. Something I've missed since moving back the
TN and continuing my career. I'm a Parole Officer now, wife is
a Juvenile Probation Officer and Judicial Magistrate. Strange how
things work out. Neither one of us ever dreamed we'd end up
with careers like this.
Anyway, thank you for the response and your service.
