I ride with a guy whose nickname is Rainman so I bought a pair of the Harley Rainmakers for 140.00 from the shoeshack.com. Its hard to believe but the reason I bought the Harleys is because they were the least expensive that I could find in a high top boot. Rode to Little Rock Arfrom Wichitaks 2 weeks ago. On I40amoungst all of the tractor trailers in adown poor for 2 plus hours and the feet stayed dry. I just put the mink oil on heavy and left them alone the day before I left.
+1 on the HD Rainmakers. I love 'em. Probably be hot if the heat ever makes it this far north this summer though.
I got a set of (gasp) Wing Gear overboots at cruiser customizing for $20. They completely enclose the boot and work really well. If they can wear our Harley stuff, we can wear thier's. I don't care what it says, as long as it works.
I also really like the Cruiserworks boots, just wish they would use a different vender than Resoleamerica to resole the boots. I had mine resoled and within a couple of weeks my boots were leaking around the sole again. I sent them back to resoleamerica and they said they had received a bad batch of soles and would resole the boots for free again but with the return shipping at my expense, I told them and they had a record of doing the soles several weeks ago with me paying the shipping that time but wouldn't budge on me paying to have them shipped again. I'd buyCruiserworks again ,but when the sole wore out I'd toss them before sending them back to resoleamerica.

i wear magnums at work and they are very light / comfortable. and of course waterproof. ive had to stand in / walk thru water over my ankles and never had a drop get in. ive been wearing their elite 900 boots for about 5 years now and their still going strong. not to expensive either.
