I would agree with dcooper, the price of the HD wheel is about the same as most other Wheel mfg's, but they all look semi-stock. Get at least an 18" wheel. You won't regret it.
You've got to be kidding me! Are you telling me that I can get 18" chrome wheels, both done for $550? Of course NOT. Each well is going to cost you close to a grand, if not over, then you've got to use PM Rotors, and at that stage why not change the calipers to go along with those braided lines? The whole job with a new set of PM's is going to run you near, if not over $3000. I priced them out, I know. Now I took my stock 16" wheels off, sent them in to be chromed, (both for $550) pressed new bearings in and I'm one my way. Would I like to go with 18" PM wheels. Well hell yes I would. But with the money I saved I can put a lot of miles, and hotel rooms between me and the garage. JMHO, CCRyder
I've considering the same thing. Sold on the BW's. Would like to go with an 18" on front but concerned it might look strange with otherwise stock Ultra tour pak and all.

I have the same concern, but after spending too much time here, I am really considering 18" on my ultra!
I have the stock Dunlop thin walls on my RK with chrome 9 spoke. Getting ready to replace my rear tire, and it will be the same. Even once I'm ready for both - I think I'll still with the thin wall
