Almost 2 years with my 07 RG. Last night I went for a ride and the whistling sound from the shield? drove me crazy! Never has done it before and I have made NO changes at all to the bike. It did it no matter which direction I drove. Started at about 45mph on up.

Ideas???????

my RG does that on occasion....it is the rubber seal around the windshield...just push it back into place and secure with adhesive

I have slotted levers for the brake and clutch and they whistle when my hands are not on or near the grips. Maybe something to look at because it took me a 2000 mi trip last Memorial Day weekend to figure out where the sound was coming from.

If that were the case I would have a problem with my bike slowing to a stop after having that big ole anchor drop to the ground! Ha!

Rubber gasket around the bottom of the windshield is loose, no doubt about it.
