If you go with the setup that I have, you will need two parts from Touratech:

1. Chrome 1 Inch Handlebar Clamp (GCLMP1) - $15.00 - Chrome Handlebar Clamp
2. RAM Hex Ball (GRAHEX) - $15.00 - RAM Hex Ball

The Zumo 550 comes with everything else that you will need.

Looks good... can the mount be easily removed? I'd like to have a quick detach setup so I can also use my Ipod on another quick detach setup.
Going the techmount way with a Powerlet Powerbar is pricey at $300 for the whole setup so I can use either the GPS or Ipod. Did you hardwire the GPS in ?

Obviously I don't have a picture but on my detachable windshield I replaced the nut on the center bolt in the with a threaded 1" stainless steel ball **** (McMaster/Carr catalogue $12.00)and use it to mount the zumo to. It puts it right in the center of the windshield in either a high or low position depending on where you turn the clamp. Works great and is not exposed to the elements.

Anyone have a nice looking chrome mount suggestion for 1 +1/4" inch bars? I'm thinking about a Zumo 550 also but am installing Wild Ones mini apes on the new bike.

Stick the Zumo XM hockey puck in the fairing on top of the radio.

I did a ZUMO Powerlet Techmount quick disconnect mount.

To find the correct 3.5mm aux cable see thread below

See Thread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/2801104-post.html

I have CHUBBYŽ Wild1 WO517 BARS 1 1/4" bars. I can remove the Zumo and the Zumo Bike Mount in under 5 seconds. It don't get wet when I wash the bike and the Zumo bike mount won't grow little feet when I'm parked.

If you don't want to do the Powerlet Powerbar then Techmount makes excellent handlebar mounts. (I'd suggest the 2 1/4" short)
