Default Swapping Pipes

I got an 07 Road King Classic. When I bought it, I had the dealership put on the Rush Slipons. I want to change to some other type of slipon that is a little more throaty sounding. Not sure what yet. If I change, are there any other modifications that I will have to do like some type of fuel adjustments. Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, there are a lot more guys on this forum who are more tech than I am; but if you change to some good pipes you will likely change the breather and then you will need to do fuel mangaement and a good tune. I used the SERT and a great tuner. But TD Bub 7... SERT and the HD Air kit... try it...

yea, I took the packing off. It made a slight difference. Don`t get me wrong, it sounds good, I just want a deeper, throatier sound.

I just put on the Rush slip ons with the 2.25" baffles. My bud has an 08Glide with Rineharts. I thought the Rineharts sounded pretty good until I cranked mine up next to his. I don't know if I've heard pipes that were throatier than the Rush. I also put on the V&H Dresser Dualssothat may have contributed to the sound some. I think theysound incredible. Maybe you should try a more open baffle like2.50". Just a thought.
