I think that stupid thread on the saddlebag fasterners jinxed me!! One of them bent on me and was not useable..said, I"ll grab another this weekend, I've still got one holding on my bag...
I heard a loud HISSSSS and thought I cut a back tire, expecting the assend to come flying out from under me. I turn to look behind me and here comes my right saddlebag skidding up beside me at 20 mph. Needless to say it's pretty well trashed. Got the lid, latch and side. Have to scour ebay now for a cobalt bag..majorly pissed!

Well, I wasn't going too fast so it didn't smash into a 100 pieces. I pulled over, put it back on and rode off. Got home and got a few new pins. It's definitely fixable, just whether or not the paint will match and the body work will be detectable is debatable. I'm going to check out Ebay first and if I can't find a take off, I'll have it repaired and sprayed which I would rather not do. Would actually be a good time to stretch the bags!! LOL
