Geez, whatever happened to looking at a bike magazine or two to decide what something looks like on a bike? There's bound to be pics of both if you look at enough magazines. Besides........ Isn't about what YOU think looks good?
In the old days (yeah, I know ;-) if you didn't have a buddy with a setup you were thinking of putting on your bike, you'd walk around the parking lot at the local bike bar or swap meet...... of course, back then, bikers were riding mostly stuff they built themselves, and we made decisions based on availability of far fewer "off the shelf" accessories and almost NO "finish options" when a part WAS available. "And cruise-control" meant an internal solid-wire throttle (pre-80s) that hadn't been oiled in over a decade and had a busted return spring inside the bar >;-).
When I put chrome switch housings on \\;my Fat Boy I went with black buttons.
I loved the look. I say contrast (either way, Chrome and Black or Black and Chrome).
On My Stree Glide I kept the housings black (and black levers) and went with chrome buttons.
It looks really good too.

Chrome housings with the black buttons, then leave the master cylinder black and put on the chrome cover. That all looks good with the Kury ISO grips. Everything matches with Chrome and Black with not too much chrome.
Thanks a million guys... ANd sorry to the guy that thinksI should get out and buy magazines to look at pictures. I have dont this, for your info, and I also thought that this was a place to ask questions and post thoughts and opinions.. I ws just looking for honest advice from other riders and people that I thought I could have a conversation with. If you had nothing nice or positive to say on a post then do liek th old fasion days and dont post. I except others people advice and slams when I feel I deserve them but I'm sorry to add that if you saw the title of the post you would have seen that I was asking for advice on this topic. Since the poll section didn't work when this thread was started this was my only option.
Thanks to those of you that offered your honest opinion on this topic I really appreciate almost all of your posts. This helped me make my decision on this topic. I really appreciate it.
