ORIGINAL: Jager<\\;BR>\\;<\\;BR>\\;The only solution... is a second bike! Have your wife call me - I’ll explain why it’s necessary!<\\;BR>\\;
<\\;/P>\\;
<\\;P>\\;&\\;nbsp\\;<\\;/P>\\;
<\\;P>\\;Let me know if that works. I’ll send my phone number next.<\\;/P>\\;
<\\;P>\\;If the master cylinder was just leaking around the seal and wasn’t defective, switch to the chrome cover and it will stop the problem. I’ve had the leaking problem on the front and back MC’s. Both times I bought the chrome cover with new gasket and it solved the problem. Sure it costs a little but it’s not too bad and you don’t have to fool with the dealer. Plus, you can fix it yourself in about 30 seconds.<\\;/P>\\;
Damn nice stripper. \\; How much did it weigh? 30#? \\; Yeah, I got the same prob with my MC had it for a year. Just don't like them having my bike when i can ride. I'll take it in b4 the warranty runs out.[:@]
Feel your pain, mine has been torn apart for two weeks now.
But at least I have only myself to blame.
I decided to get a custome paint job.
Seems they can't paint it while I ride it, go figure!
For the third time the bike is in the shop for at least a week. \\; I've had my RKC (07) for 1 year. \\; This time the front master cylinder went and it is going to take until Monday to get the part in if I'm lucky. \\; So far in one year I had the bike in to repair a leak twice. \\; After the run around the first time from the dealer I purchased the bike from I took it to another dealer who I am very happy with. \\; I just can't believe that they wouldn't stock a master cylinder or that I can't find a dealer in the area that would have one. \\; With the weather looking great for the rest of the week and the weekend I'm a bit miffed. \\; Now I will have to work on that honey-do list that has been growing for the past 2 months. \\;
Okay...I'm done. \\; Ride safe this week everyone. \\; I'll be looking at all of you going past me in envy.
old days they had a stock room with some kind of invetory cause all the parts were the same now theres so many different models they wont keep much in stock \\; \\; Reminds me of \\;my \\;old yamaha dealer
