I'm going to change the primary fluid on my '05 RK, the manual says 32 oz's. Then I read it should not be overfilled, and don't fill over the clutch hub. The manual doesn't say if the oil level is checked on the jiffy stand or straight up, I don't want to just pour in 32 oz's and have it overfilled. How are you guys checking \\;the primary level, Side stand or straight up?
did you check the manual closely for the amount of fluid. \\; I had always added a quart, 32 oz. \\; However, upon closer examination the owners manual on my '07 UC listed, if memory serves me right, 38 oz. thus, last time I had to open up another jug for the ramaining 6 oz.
Drain it on the jiffy stand, but re-fill with the bike strait up. Fill it through the chain tension inspection cover, not the derby cover. One 32 ounce bottle will be perfect. No need to worry about over or under filling.

new models don't have an inspection cover, so you have to fill through the derby cover.
