Default SIDE PAK LATCH

noticed my latch on my side pak will not stay closed all of a sudden.&nbsp\\; have to lock with key to keep closed.&nbsp\\; no big deal but wondering who else had/has this problem and how did you repair.&nbsp\\; thanks

My port side bag has been doing that for years....so used to it now it's become normal&nbsp\\;to&nbsp\\;keep&nbsp\\;both bags locked, actually probably a good habit to do anyways.

Wife was gripin about that on her SG. I took a look and if that piece of canvas in there gets under it it acts like the latch is broke.

I had this happen to mine.&nbsp\\; There are 2 little prongs that stick straight out under the outside part of your saddle bag latch.&nbsp\\; Lay on the ground and look up, gently lift you latch upward.&nbsp\\; Take a pair of right angle needle nose pliers and bend those tabs up, they actually hold onto the bottom of the hinge.&nbsp\\; You can also put a towel between the pliers and your saddle bag so you don't scratch them.&nbsp\\; Hope this helps.

pulled in the garage the other nite and left lid was hanging open

Mine did the same the Dealer replaced sain broking spring.
