hmm. I wonder if they will be citing those who put croch rocket mufflers on little 4 cylinder cars. I have pythons and also a set of sampsons and I know that those cars are louder than alot of bikes I hear.&nbsp\\;

Most on this forum upgrade for better or higher performance . Only the small percentage members of L.A.M.E are drawing attention

&nbsp\\;Seems I remember the owner of a local Suzuki shop tell me it was 50 ft away as you drove by with the noise measured by machine.&nbsp\\;

that funny cause in oakland all the police issue bikes are going to a louder pipe after nubers of complaints that the officers didn't feel safe with such quiet pipes. they said they wanted to be heard and then seen. i guess johnny public doesn't deserve the right of being safe. this story was on all the news stations the same day you posted the org message

If you get pulled over for noise -
&nbsp\\;
MAKE SURE THE COP STANDS TO THE SIDE OF THE BIKE !
NOT BEHIND IT SO THE NOISE BOUNCES OFF OF HIM INTO THE MEETER.&nbsp\\;I BEAT THIS TICKET IN PA.
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;Good Luck to all

I must be getting old, but I'm going to quieter pipes on my own. I have V&amp\\;H Big Radius on my Springer and after a day of riding I feel beat. &nbsp\\;

I really like the loud pipes in limited doses. I sometimes wish I lived where I could get away with having them.

After I switched to a 1/2 helmet from a FF, I quickly learned why so many wear ear plugs. Some of these pipes sound so good, but thats only for the first 3-4 hours, after that your ears start to bleed

If I owned property there and all I heard all day long were loud pipes, I would probably want to do something about it too.

A little inside information. It was not because of the HD's but the rice rockets that were racing and screwing off, we're a by product.
