I have a 05 Electra Glide Standard that has no radio. \\; My question is do the Harmon Kardon radios fit the same wiring harness? \\; Are there any adapters to make it work with the hand controls without splicing?

Thanks in advance

you will need the 2006 and up interconnect harness. replace yours with it. but personally the hk radio is junk!! stick with your harness and look for an 05 radio from radiosound in louisville ky.

Why do you call the HK radio junk? Granted, I only have 7500 miles on mine, but the radio hasn't had a problem yet.
I did a search for Radiosound in Ky and found their website but it is informational only. \\; The site also states that they don't sell direct to customers. \\; Is there another online location?

Call Radio Sound Cutomer Service: \\; 502 267-6768 IIRC. \\; If they sell you a radio, please post since I don't believe they do.

Personally, I went with a Biketronics/Sony installation instead of the HD on my '04 EG 'cause it's less painful on the wallet to replace a $139 Sony headunit than a failed HD unitand the Sony/Pioneer alternatives play pretty much any music format.
