This only happens in colder weather (45 degrees or so)

When I start my 05 RK, for the first few minutes it runs very "choppy". It seems to break up. After about 5 minutes of idling, I'm OK.


I have a Stage 1 A/C SE pipes. PCIII

Is this normal?

 

Dyno tuned or generic map?

Well then you should know that people are gonna tell you to get the bike dyno tuned first before asking about any running problems.

 

My '04 FLHRI, Ness Big Sucker, PC III, V&H Ovals, generic map, starts first try and idles smooth from 20 deg. to 95 deg. It has not been dynoed although I may do it this summer.

 

i think my bike runs best from freezing to about 60 degrees..

 

Should not run rough when at any time if tuned properly.

 

Bounty, What color did you pick for your Goldwing?

 

At 30 my bike starts as soon as I hit the starter and purrs like a kitten.

 

I have a stock 05 RKC. In cold I have no issues
