 \\; \\; \\; i think thats what its called, anyway i have the one that has the little wind deflector on top, andi want the one that you can see the whole headlight. i cant just take it off, its one piece and covers the neck lock and other things too i think, what do i need to change it over? anyone wanna trade?

If I am not mistaken....that wind deflector is an aftermarket piece that bolts on in place of the "chrome spear" that you would see on a standard headlight. \\; Check with your dealer....its a quick swap. \\; then you can sell the wind deflector on ebay. \\; You should get pretty good money for it.

you can just buy the handle bar cap from a RKClassic or standard and it will work fine on your bike. I have the RKCustom like you and when I took the nacelle apart to have it powder coated I noticed how simple it would be to switch over.

yes, you do need a new spear. \\; i couldn't find one on ebay, but it was less than 25 bucks shipped from zanottis. \\; the handlebar cover i got off ebay for about 20 bucks. \\; no need for the deflector since i always run with a windshield.
