In Tulsa it's tar snakes AND huge chuckholes.

Pretty soon I will need tank treads on all the vehicles.

Besides TAR SNAKES the local D.O.T around here gets carried away with that ***** and put down 1 to 2 feet sqaure patches on roads sometimes.&nbsp\\; If you are riding in a know problem area just slow it down a tad in the twisties and&nbsp\\;to manuver and miss them all together you need to see the snake than look away.&nbsp\\; If you star at the object you are trying to miss you will hit it every time.&nbsp\\; Its same for motocross racing on tracks with bad ruts.&nbsp\\; You look at rut you want to stay out of and you wind going in it every time.

My son darn near lost it going across "Tar Snakes" up a steep hill... Now he avoids them at all costs. The hotter the pavement is, the more likely those darn things are to make the tire/bike slide. Tar, just another petroleum product (OIL)!

You might get a better understanding of those tar snakes if you just pull off the road near one and go look at it.&nbsp\\; Feel how the tar gets gooey and you will have a better idea of why they do what they do to your scooter.
