I'm leavin for a 3500 mile trip in 3 weeks and need a new seat . I want a solo with a removable pillion . The narrower the seat the better . Please help with some suggestions . Its for a 07 flhx. Also sumtin that my *** can handle for this ride other than that stock crap.

Look into the Danny Gray Big Seat. Has what you're looking for but it is pricey. Get it with the "gel," it really helps absorb the vibrations. I have one on my new FLHRC and last Thursday and Friday I was in the saddle for 6 hours each day except for gas and juice stops and no "monkey-butt." I'm incredibly happy with mine.

+1 on the danny gray.I've got one on my 07 flht with the small back rest and I've made several 350 to 500 mile days with very little buttburn.It is pretty pricey though,but well worth it. It also looks great.

Mustang gets my vote. 2700 miles on it in the last 5 weeks...comfortable. I have the two-piece set up with the 15-inch solo seat\\; my wife loves the p-pad - way better than the stock SG seat. Also, I'm short, so the narrow front of the solo helps.

Got a few thousand on a Corbin solo. The stitching, flames, not only pretty but adds a noticeable extra padding. Great seat. Ride all day.

Not a few thousand. I enjoyed this seat from day one. After a few hundred mile it forms to your butt. This is my second Corbin. The first did not have stitching and it seemed to get pretty hard. This one rides nice all day.&nbsp\\;
