Thats exactly why i have the 2" from baddad on order!!!! I know me and i'll have \\;hole burned in my bags in no time!!!![:@]
I just seen the 2" extension from baddad and i must say they look pretty nice on a sg. anything lower though i think your lookin for trbl. I know a bunch of guys who bouth the extended 4" arlen ness ones and everyday i see a new scrape. im good with my stock height, just slam the rear with my air ride set up and it looks just as cool.
I have the 2.5" Baddad extensions on my bags. \\; The longer extensions just look a little too long to me. \\; Talk to your body guy/painter about the "witness line" before you start. \\; I used short strand glass and then Rage Extreme and still can see a witness line where the extensions were added. \\; My painter added extra clear and supposedly after this riding season all of the shrinking will be done he can block the bags and get rid of the line. \\; Just an FYI.
i ought to have mine back from the painter this week(then again i've been saying that for like a month) i did bdddad 2" extensions in primer i thought looked awsome cant wait to see em painted to match. i also agree the long ones are too long look out of place and the bag looks like a big blank bill board
