Default 08 Road King-Handlebars that don't require changing cables -UPDATE

Just took delivery of my new 08 Road King and i'd liketo change my bars.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I understand many people like tall ape handlebars, more power to you, I'm just not one of them.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
What I'm seeking, is at least a 2" to 3" rise and at least a 2" pullback. The angle is fine, as I came off a Super Glide that I took the Buckhorns off and went with mini apes, they were perfect for that bike.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I don't want to change cables or brake lines.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Any suggestions for my criteria?

I just put a set of Heritage bars on mine and I am very happy with them.&nbsp\\; I don't know that they will work with the 08 fbw.&nbsp\\; While searching this forum for ideas on my bars I saw a lot of posts mentioning that you can get the stock 08 police edition bars that work.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Good luck - I wish I changed mine out 10K ago

I have heard the Heritage bars are great, as I thought about them on my last bike, but went with the mini apes.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
But if anyone knows for sure that I wouldn't have to change my brake line, Clutch cable, and or extend the throttle wires, that would be a great choice.
&nbsp\\;
And I need to do this sooner than later, as I forgot how uncomfortable stock grips are...

I just put the 08 RK police bars on my FLHR.&nbsp\\; Some say they are the same as the heritage bars.&nbsp\\; Big improvement of the OEM bars.&nbsp\\; Did not need any wiring changes.&nbsp\\; The bars cost $55 to $60.

Thanks, that's a good start worth checking out.
I'm guessing I can get them at a dealership?

I took delivery of my 08 FLHR on May 10. I talked to the guy in the parts dept about handlebars. He suggested Heritage Classic bars. Said they would bolt right on. He was right. The only thing he didn't tell me was that the 08 has a fly-by-wire throttle with wire harness running through handlebar and a tp sensor in handgrip. After&nbsp\\;a small amount of finely tuned grinding, they fit perfectly. Incredible difference in the bike! I have put 3400 miles on it since May 10 and have loved every one of them since I changed the bars.

I just ordered some Wild 1 0518's the RK II's.&nbsp\\; Their dimensions are 5.5" end rise, 35.5" width, 12" center width, and 14.25" pullback.&nbsp\\; the only thing I will have to do is extend the cruise control, start, rund wires.&nbsp\\; The brake and clutch cables will be fine.

My brother installed Road King High Handlebars on his '06 and likes them.&nbsp\\; No cable/wiring changes.
&nbsp\\;
Part # is 55954-00.&nbsp\\; The HD Parts and accessory site gives the specs.

I can't speak to the '08s with the tbw but the high bars were a huge improvement over stock on my '01 RKC and no cable or line changes needed.
