Cleaning the forks
How can I clean the machined surface of the lower forks? \\; I have some bugs that have been on there for a long time and they seem to have almost stained the metal. \\; I have tried some cleaners, but they have not even touched the marks. \\; Is there anything that I can try to get these off??

Get a spray bottle, hydrogen peroxide 3%, mix 50/50 with water and spray on. \\; the peroxide dissolves protein and the bug melt away. Won't hurt paint or chrome.

ive heard about this before but never tried it...does it take the wax off the paint like the batwing?
