Stopped in at the dealer yesterday and started BSing with my salesman. For what it's worth, he told me the word is that there will be a SE Road Glide for 2009!
 \\;\\\\\\;
Normally he says he doesn't know anything about the new models until the dealer show so this sounds pretty plausible to me.
 \\;\\\\\\;
He also said they were hoping for a SE Street Glide this year instead...but not gonna happen.
 \\;\\\\\\;
I guess we'll know soon enough!

I was thiking that I would get one when they came out, I \\;changed my mind now, \\;I will go with a regular RG and do the HQ 120" upgrade, after \\;my son gets out of the Army and I hand over my RKC to him.
Sales guy told me exactly the same thing last year. Swore up and down that there would be either a SE Roadie or an SE SG in '08.
His guess is as good (or bad) as yours - he doesn't "know" anything. Anybody who knows, ain't talking until the dealer show. Otherwise the MoCo tattoos "RAT FINK" on their foreheads and kicks them to the curb.
That being said, they're probably due for an SE RG. I just don't know if they want to have two SE dressers in the same year, nor can I see them dropping the SE UC in favor of the RG. If the rumors of a "Night Glide" Dark Custom FLHX are true, then probably no SE FLHX either.

damn, i just got out of the army too, can i have a rk?
skratch, go ask your dad for one, hell junior saved me 60 k in school expense and did his duty least I could do for him. Just want him home now his brothers will be taking his place soon enough then they will get the RG and so on.
Psshhttt... I went to the Naval Academy, been in the Nav ever since, folks didn't have to shell out a dime for my school. Guess how many Harleys they've bought for me? Give you a hint...less than 1. \\;[8D]
