\\; I've rode the ElectraGlide Batwings since 1996 and love em. \\; But to me the Road King is just the Classic Harley Davidson motorcycle and I havn't rode one but a couple miles. \\; I have seen lately where several guys have went from the Road King to one of the Batwing models and would like you guys pros and cons and likes and dislikes \\; of the two bikes, now that you got thousand of miles on each one..
\\; I've got close to 94K on my 99Ultra now and I am thinkin about something newer with less miles and although I love the ultra's ride and comfort the King just tugs at my heart, if ya know what I mean. \\; thanks

I feel your pain. I love my Ultra don't get me wrong but for some reason the heritage softail has been tuggin at my heart!!!
I was trying to decide the same thing. I put a lot of miles on my bike and love dem tunes. I would love a RK with 18 inch apes but I can only afford 1 bike. So the SG it is.
Ha! I just got home and posted a new thread called Facetime with a Batwing! I had not bothered to check into the forum contents before posting it. It does not quite fit all of the qualifications of your inquiry. In fact it comes from somewhat the reverse direction. But the topic is squarely the same...
