Update

December 31, 2008, I did get my credit and an apology from Joyce by e-mail.

Six months lost, an apology and no fuel door, what a way to do business.

On other forums (read: car and car PC boards) on which I'm a member, I've observed the forum admins stepping in and being an advocate for their members when they have such heinous, dramatic issues with a supporting vendor. For reference, did you solicit and/or receive any such assistance in this case?

i second that! my derby cover was pretty labor intensive, and i had it back in less than a month. thats from my original email asking about a quote for custom work until i had the finished piece in hand.
