Alright guys here is the follow up. Finally got the air filter and horn cover been since april. Still waiting on the fuel door. Sent me the wrong design tried to tell me it is what i ordered. sent it back 6 weeks later got the fuel door looks great guess what wrong year. Still waiting on the fuel door. So they cut me a deal on the lowers POW said they will go out fast promised they would go out fast. couple weeks go by tell them have appointment with mechanic 2 weeks will that be enough time. No problem I'm told. 2 weeks no lowers. will be their next week change appointment still no pieces will be there next week now it at the shop taken apart with the chrome rims waiting on the lowers. I asked for a refund! They will be going out I'm told. went to paypal still no good. now I escalated the claim no response still waiting. Bike in shop waiting for lowers need the money to buy the lowers I am pissed and thinking of getting an attorney.

Also promised me a free transmission cover haven't received it or when I bring it up they divert the question. Not worth the hassle. HD forums should definitely reconsider having them as sponsors.

Appreciate the Heads Up.. I am the First to Commend businesses that do things right .. But also the first to let you know when things are not right as well .. Sounds like these people need to be avoided like the plague and until someone can prove otherwise don't want them touching anything of mine ...

It could be worse!
My broinlaw dropped off his '07 EGS(stolen replacement)to a custom shop in April for a makeover.
His first mistake was,he paid upfront for most of the work.He is still waiting for his bike. It's been one excuse after another.

This is the first time I have heard any thing on this board about Chrome Fusion, my story:

Last Christmas we were in Las Vegas and several of the dealers around town had items displayed from Chrome Fusion. The buddy I was with and I decided to visit their shop. They do very nice work, it is a mom and pop with an adult son, they do all the engraving by hand. My buddy ordered a fuel door, it took about 3-4 months and a few calls but he was happy. In June I decided to order a fuel door, they said it would take 6-8 weeks.

In September, I called, I was told it would go out next week.

In October, I called, I was told it would go out next week.

In November, I called, I was told it would go out next week.

On December 15, I called, I was told it would go out next week.

On December 22, I wrote an e-mail canceling the order and asking for my money back, no reply, the next day a I wrote a second request. She did answer and say she was sorry and would credit my card.

What a way to do business.

As I said their work is great but not worth the hassle.

I was going to post here but I thought this might just be a rare occurrence and I did not want to bad mouth someone if this was unusual.

I've seen their stuff and it's amazing work. Really cool concept and I'm sure "extremely" time consuming. If they were just up front with their customers on this, and that a 6 month turnaround is more the norm - I'm sure they'd be a top notch co.
They have to have as much time into their parts as building & painting a custom tank from scratch (just a comparison).
Too bad they aren't so forthcoming - I really like their stuff!

I've seen a couple of their horn covers in J & P Cycles' catalog.
I guess if you want something custom you're out of luck.
But if you want one from the J & P catalog, I would hope they have some in stock.
