Just got a new&nbsp\\;what I think is a clearview 12" smoked recurve&nbsp\\;windshield from a forum member. Its awesome and I can see over it if it rains and surprisingly can see through it very well at night. It is about 2 " shorter than the stock clear. works as good as the bigger stock shield.&nbsp\\;The stock measures 12" on the bike. What is the actual size of it?( 08 ultra) I want to be sure my new one is a 12" because I might want to order a smaller for bike week and such and just want to know I am gauging from the correct sizes?? Any help would app.

That's how they are measured, the height above the fairing when mounted. The stock size is 12". Your clearview must be a 9 or 10" if it's shorter than stock.
