New Owner Workshop
 \\;
Service manager handed out his business card with his personal cell phone number on it and told us he's available 24/7. \\; He said there's no reason for you to get towed in the local area, we've got two trucks and trailers, we'll come get you. \\; It was interesting that, out of the dozen or so folks there, the service manager was asked about the squealing back brakes and the TBW high idle issue. \\; \\;
 \\;
I just wanted to mention that though the staff were clearly trying to get us and other folks into the dealership for clothes, parts and service, there are at least some dealers trying to keep the customer base happy, giving a little personal attention, and maintaining the HD Family environment. \\; And by the way, the dealership is normally closed on Sundays.
 \\;
The mid-late 90's created a whole generation of credit card \\;carrying slob consumers. \\; I was trying to by a Honda Shadow Sabre back in 02 and I couldn't get a deal at all. \\; Kept getting the "take it or leave it" deal slammed down my throat. \\; One guy even said "I'll sell it all day at that price." \\; I believed him. \\; But \\;not to me. \\; Well, I left it until I found a dealer who wanted my business.
 \\;
I think (hope) \\;now, a lot of businesses are starting to come back to their roots of actually taking care of their customers. \\; It's the only way many of them will survive. \\; The days of quantity over quality are gone, at least for a little while.
 \\;
Get it now, while the gettin' is gettin' good.
