My neighbor bought a set of Road King hard leather bags off ebay that were listed as used but MINT 100% condition. He paid 465 for them and they showed up not so MINT condition. The one bag has a crease/indention that runs along under the badge. You can see it in the picture below. Its looks like the bags were stacked on top of each other on their side.
My question is.... is there a way to get that indention out? If not, whats a fair asking price for the bags? Can he get 400 out of them.
The reason I am asking is his PC went belly up. He has no access at this time.

Thanks

Easiest thing to try I'd say would be to put some good leather conditioner on them and let them sit for awhile to see if the crease will stretch back out somewhat. Maybe a leather shop could pull the leather to pull out the crease??? Just some thoughts
I've had great results with plain ole black shoe polish. \\; The same thing used on leather shoes from a can. \\; I've had some nasty gouges put onto my bags and brought them back to normal with this technique. \\; Put a generous amount on the area and let it sit for a while. \\; Then wipe it off and see what happens. \\; If all else fails......try putting a trim piece over the gouge. \\; It may look better than the plain look. \\; Good Luck.....
Thanks for the suggestion guys. I warned him about ebay but hes pretty new to the whole internet thing. I'll pass on the suggestions and we will go from there.

I highly doubt the indentation will come out but the scrape can be colored over. These bags scuff very easy.
I'd suggest filing a complaint with eBay after 1st trying to work something out with the seller. Ebay does have a program, not that it works very well but it does exist.
Use the Ebay dispute resolution procedure. \\; Also, if he paid using PayPal he can get his money back. \\; I wouldn't do anything to the bags until I went through those procedures. \\; He was promised mint bags and didn't get them. \\; JMHO.
Let me fill you guys in regarding these bags. \\; They scuff easily. \\; Use some common sense. \\; \\;If the hard leather bags you are looking to buy used have spent more than 5 minutes on a bike they ain't mint and they're gonna be scuffed.
