O.K. boys, I love my Road Glide for highway work and long trips but jumping on it for a quick cruise must doesn't work for me. I'm thinking about a second bike with much less wind protection, lighter and more fun to just whip around on. What are you guys thinking would be good... v-rod, dyna, sportster (I'm 6'0)??

Thanks

I kept my hot rod Fat Boy when I bought my Streetglide. \\; I did a 95" Dave Mackie Megasphere with Dave's .590 cams and a 45m.m. Mikuni. \\; I also added a S.E. 6 speed. \\; It's quick, well over 100hp - 100tq. \\; It's lighter, easy to back up, even up hill, and even though my glide is well tuned and doesn't run "hot", \\;the Fat Boy \\;still doesn't radiate heat as much. \\; It's a better ride around town on a hot summer day. \\; However, even with the 6 speed, I don't ride it very far from home. \\; I miss the glides stereo too much.
I have the opposite problem. \\; I have an 07 Dyna low rider. \\; Love it for short trips and riding around town. \\; Fits me extrememly well. \\; But now I'd like a cruiser for longer trips. \\; \\;The RK Classic looks awesome! \\; I just can't afford both right now. \\;
IF I ever add another bike to the stable, and that a big IF, I think I would get a Thunder Mountain Spitfire. \\; I like the look of a pro street just to have a quick cruise every once in a while.
I have an 08 Anniv. Street Glide and thinking seriously about getting a new 08 Big Dog \\; "Pitbull" to go along with it! Now that would top it off!! Take a look at the new Pitbull!! Wow what a machine!
I am very impressed with the Kawasaki Concours line. That would be real hoot for getting my second childhood underway. I am really just old enough for my Ultra.

If it had to be a Harley, it would be a Heritage Softail. That was my original intent until my wife saw the Ultra.
