Default Another Flat

Had a little ride planned today, so last night I was checking tire pressure.&nbsp\\; The back tire was low.&nbsp\\; I topped it off.&nbsp\\; Well this morning I go out and check it again.&nbsp\\; Thats right low again.&nbsp\\; So I put it on the jack to look.&nbsp\\; Sure enough, small nail right in the middle.&nbsp\\; Holiday...everybodys closed.
&nbsp\\;
I could fix the tire with a plug, possibly even break it down and do a proper repair with a patch plug.&nbsp\\; I know popular opinion here is...get a new tire...which is what I did on the last flat I had.&nbsp\\; This is the new tire.&nbsp\\; The bike has less than 8k on the clock and this is my second flat.&nbsp\\; It sucks.

If it's tubeless, and you plug it with one of the motorcycle specific mushroom plugs (the kit I have is a Stop N Go brand).&nbsp\\; I have plugged two tires on a 1000cc sportbike and then ridden them for the remaining life of the tire with no problems, including speeds over 100mph and it never leaked a bit.&nbsp\\; I don't know about the cheaper cord plugs you find at an auto parts store...I wouldn't trust them as much to stay in.
&nbsp\\;
Of course if it's a tube tire like my RKC, then you could try Slime to get you through the weekend before replacing the tube.

I feel your pain. You have my sympathies. Advice would be to get it fixed.

Happy now?
