Hey Guys,
I'm looking to lower my RK custom with lowering blocks but dont know witch ones to get. Ive done a search but that didnt realy help much. I see alot \\;have used solo &\\; TRW out of canada. Any help would be appreciated. Pros &\\; cons of each would be nice. Thanks. \\; \\;
Does anyone know what happened to the Solow company that made lowering brackets? \\; www.solowmotorcycles.com \\; They were a good product, and a popular item here on the forum a while back. \\; Now it seems their website is gone.
I was thinking of checking this out myself, \\; these are said to work with RK Custom w/leather bags

 \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; \\;&n bsp\\; \\; let me know.. what ya think
go to \\; www.pingelonline \\; they make a set out of billet steel, lowers an inch I put a set on 8,000 mi ago and can't tell a differance in the ride just lower. Friend of mine bought some alum. ones and the threads pulled out on one side
Something to consider when using blocks instead of shorter shocks, you will be changing the angle of the shock so the force angle on the shock will change. JMHO \\;
 \\;Be careful with those lowering kits they work great on Sportster but they don't \\;work well on a big bike , I tried them and the change in the working angle of the shocks let the tire scrap and grind in the top of the fender (I only wiegh 180 and ride alone).
 \\;I removed the lowering kit after a 100 miles or so and put a set of short Progressive air shocks on instead and it now works perfect. \\; \\;
