For what it's worth, Heard a rumor at loal dealership (from an untested source) that the \\;\\\\\\;2009 lineup  \\;\\\\\\;will \\;\\\\\\;include a factory stock trike.
 \\;\\\\\\;
List at just under $30K.

That's probably a good rumor. \\;There was a public announcement of a deal with Lehman Trikes about a year ago.
I also think the XR1200 rumor might be true. \\; \\;
HD teamed up with Lehman so a trike model makes sense.
I just hope they got some creativity this year. Last years Cross Bones is cool but they need to do more to all their lines.
I heard the Lehman deal feel through...can't understand why Harley ( American ) would go with Lehman ( Canadian )...
Test drove a 2008 Ultra with the California Sidecar Trike kit at the CSC factory, sweet, very smooth suspension...
 \\;
I gotta have one. \\; 10 gallons! just imagine, one could actually do the Iron Butt BunBurner 1500 Gold (1,500 in 24 hours) on a Harley. \\; As is a \\;a gas stop every 170 miles with my 5 gallon tank, I'll never \\;make it.
 \\;
just for fun, a couple weeks ago I ran from OKC to JAX straight through. \\; no food stops, just gas, and only managed 1,242 miles in 18+55. \\; doing the math I \\;averaged 65 MPG. which means 1,500 miles would take at least 23 hours. \\; that's cutting it awful close with inaccurate motorcycle speedos \\;and all the trip logging and documentation required for the Iron Butt Association.
 \\; The Lehman deal didn't fall through. \\; I questioned the same, Why Lehman? \\;I was told they were the only ones that could produce the quantity Harley wanted. \\; \\;They also \\;wanted the freedom to design and work with a company to produce their own trike and not an existing one with HD slapped on it. \\; Lehman had the manufacturing ability and space they wanted. \\;
I heard the same about the trike. Est. cost is right at 30k. I also heard (seriously) Street Glide is getting a 200 rear tire and will be available in black denim paint. We'll see.
