Thanks guys! What about a mount? Is the Ram the only thing going?
I love my Zumo!

Here are the pics of the Powerlet Powerbar and the Techmount 2 1/2" stem mount installed.

Doesn't the Garmin 2720 have an internal hard drive instead of using memory cards?&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I may be wrong, not sure.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; What I've read is you want to stay away from any unit using an internal hard drive, they don't hold up well to vibration.

I've got a 2610, been happy with it.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Friend of mine bought a refurb 2610 last week for less than $170.
&nbsp\\;
The 2720 does not have a hard drive, it is solid state.&nbsp\\; I have one and love it.&nbsp\\; I paid around $250.00 for a refurb unit that came with all the software, mounts, and cables.&nbsp\\; I then bought the Garmin motorcycle adpater plate and fab'ed up a fairing mount.&nbsp\\; A very good investment for me.

+1 for Zumo 550.&nbsp\\; Have mine hard-wired, with blue tooth for phone... works through Harley stock headset.

The zumo is made for motorcycles, I have the 550 and love it. Large touch screen, very easy to use.&nbsp\\; Why buy old technology? The 550 comes with everything you need for the car &amp\\; bike.

Don't forget that the 550 also has the option for XM.

I've been running a 2720 for three years now. It's great, no trouble what so ever. I ride about 15,000 touring miles a year and don't leave home without it.

What GPS do you run? What are the pros and cons....
A Garmin 478...it's auto-routing, waterproof, has all maps pre-loaded, XM radio, and has NEXRAD moving radar.
