I have the leather looking tour pack for the RKC, its as tall as the King but narrower than both the King and the Chopped. It can fit a full face helmet and two small duffels so it suits my needs. I didn't want my bike to start looking like an Ultra is why I went with this one.

The king for me, not much more in price but you can't get too much space...Mine is detachable,&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;and I install for&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;good trips on my StreetGlide. By the way the wives love the wrap around backrest too!
actually, the king is cheaper than the chopped.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; by a substantial margin.... go figure.

like one poster said, look around, be patient.&nbsp\\; i got my color matched chopped tourpak with backrest and shipping for 450.00, brand new in the box.&nbsp\\; msrp was almost 800 for the combo.&nbsp\\; between the saddlebags, and the tourpak, i was able to pack everything i needed for a week long road trip and still have room left over to bring stuff home.

I was considering going with the Chopped strictly for looks. After the first trip with the wife using the King I am glad I got it. Had it filled up and used the luggage rack that I added to the lid. And like was already stated anything bigger than a half shell helmet will not fit in a Chopped. Made mine detachable but I haven't taken it off yet. Here is a pic of it on my SG. Not ashamed of it at all. In fact I like the way it looks.

Oh and the best price I found shipped with with M&amp\\;M Cycles. Had it in four weeks. And a word of advice too. If you are going to order a key matched lockset do it at the same time you order the tour pak. I waited about a week and it ended up taking almost 5 weeks to get.

Hey Smitty, right way for who?&nbsp\\; You?&nbsp\\; The right way for me WAS THE CHOPPED!&nbsp\\; Maybe that's why they make both the King and Chopped. &nbsp\\;[sm=closed.gif]

I've got&nbsp\\;the Road King pictured below.
&nbsp\\;
I thought about the tour pac quite a bit before placing my order.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
&nbsp\\;
I wanted something that can actually hold the wifes crap when out ridin not just something that looks nice on back of the bike going down th road!
&nbsp\\;
She gets all the bags in the back, Tour pac, side bags for all her stuff, and I get the two spaces up front in the lowers (the glove boxes).
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I've went with the King Tour pac.&nbsp\\; Glad that I did or I'd have no room at all!

I'm happy for all you guys that want to haul wifee's crap along.&nbsp\\; Personally I don't.&nbsp\\; If she can't get it in two saddlebags and a chopped tour pak, we don't need to be haulin' it!&nbsp\\; Don't need the extra weight back there either.&nbsp\\; So what's right for one, just might not be right for all.&nbsp\\; When was the last time someone complimented you on how cool your tour pak looked?&nbsp\\; This morning.&nbsp\\; No, I didn't buy it for compliments or just for the looks, it's very functional for what I need, and I'm completely satisfied with it.&nbsp\\; Enough of my rant..&nbsp\\; Apologies..
