Luggage Rack Conversion
I picked up a four channel luggage rack on ebay for $60 bucks. It is an older version that fits a 94-96 touring model. But by grinding off two nuts it fits a 97-06 touring model. Also need to cut a couple of slots into the fender struts. Its not a detachable one, but I will only use it when we are taking long trips. Goes on and off in about 15 minutes.
There is also someone on ebay selling the same thing which has had the same mods made to it. Someone should be able to pick it up real cheap. Item # is 4620085133
